About Heather

Heather DiPietro is a freelance producer in New York City with 8+ years of experience in digital media, broadcast, print, and film. She has an in-depth understanding of the production process from development to post-production. Her work has appeared online, on television, and at film festivals in the U.S. and abroad.

Heather thrives on helping creatives and directors achieve their vision. She's a collaborative partner and cross-functional leader, consistently driving process improvement in order to maintain the integrity of the creative and budget.

Apart from producing, she's a Jane of all trades project manager, editor, photographer, and teacher. She enjoys mentoring students and lecturing at the Digital Film Academy in Producing and Web TV Development. Also, she provides production consulting to small agencies and content shops.

She loves spending time with her adorable miniature dachshunds Lucy and Maxie. She also enjoys playing basketball, building Legos, and street photography.

Throughout my career, I’ve assembled and led teams for projects and productions of all sizes. Along the way, I’ve built strong, trusting relationships with creatives, directors, editors, and crews, enabling me to bring together the right people for each project, tailored to its specific timeline and budget.

These are my personal assistants. They are terrible at fetching coffee, but terrific at bringing me joy.
