About Heather
Heather DiPietro is a freelance producer in New York City with 8+ years of experience in digital media, broadcast, print, and film. She has an in-depth understanding of the production process from development to post-production. Her work has appeared online, on television, and at film festivals in the U.S. and abroad.
Heather thrives on helping creatives and directors achieve their vision. She's a collaborative partner and cross-functional leader, consistently driving process improvement in order to maintain the integrity of the creative and budget.
Apart from producing, she's a Jane of all trades project manager, editor, photographer, and teacher. She enjoys mentoring students and lecturing at the Digital Film Academy in Producing and Web TV Development. Also, she provides production consulting to small agencies and content shops.
She loves spending time with her adorable miniature dachshund Lucy. She also enjoys playing basketball, building Legos, and street photography.

How I work
I've spent my career assembling and leading teams for projects and productions of varying scales. Through those projects, I've cultivated trusting partnerships with creatives, directors, editors, and crews, which enables me to bring together the right people based on timeline and budget.
I believe great work comes from harnessing the collective experience of every team member in an environment built on transparency and mutual respect. When there's a problem, we talk it out like a team and more importantly like humans.
